For a lone developer requiring version management then they must be developing more than small buisness sites, (even enterprise sites can be developed by the lone developer). A much better tool would be some form of project managment tool, with the html, etc. files required for the project correctly 'filed and commented'.
A project managment tool could also be used from version control, but a version control cannot be used for project managment.
However, we are talking Dw here, so project managment is like asking for full html5 support. Never going to happen.
sorry we get lost...
a version management tool simply allows to evolve the functionalities of a site, or an application, without compromising the stability of the current version
the version management tool allows us to know with precision all the modifications made to all the files and control their merge with the appropriate files
that's it, no more, no less.. it only does that but it does it well...
and it is ONE of the necessary tools (I didn't say mandatory) ...
Paula what you're talking about , project mangement, is another type of tool... and it takes us away from the initial discussion about DW and GIT

I would be spending copious amounts of time every day GITTING - writing comments, adding, commiting - about exactly what code has been introduced, taken away, and you need to do that after every tiny change/update, its no good waiting an hour or at the end of a session because by that time you will have forgotten exactly what you did and a comment like 'Changed a load of shite' isnt exactly useful.
gloups... commit is just needed when you reach a step... no need to commit every single line of code...
So I take 2 hours to reach that step, made several changes, you know stopped for a cuppa and then a beer and sandwich by the river what do I write as the comment..........humm afer 5 mins I've already forgotten the first changs so it become irrelevant..........ok I'll just forget the first change I wont document that or the second or third......
Thank you! That was a huge help
I had exactly the same problem, after doing each process and received in my email registered in Instagram, a login notification for each attempt. This means that in Instagram things are happening, but when the login message is returned to the LR / Instagram application, it stops working and the error message is sent. Clearly an LR / Instagram problem.
I made a question via "feedback@lrinstagram.com" and received a feedback message:

Hey all,
I'm trying to figure out how to filter out all rows with visits under 1,200. I work in news media and I'm only looking for stories that saw under 1,200 visits.
I tried to create a segment to exclude values under 1,200, but the logic just doesn't work out.
Is there any way I can filter by values?
Thanks!
Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a way to pass javascript value to photoshop action (XML-->ATN)
<DescValueType.ALIASTYPE key="1231953952" id="1231953952" symname="StampIn" sym="In " path="/d/work/lost_city"/>
I need to change this path="/d/work/lost_city"/>
so the path is not hard written and action can be used on any PC with different files (otherwise files is always saved to same location)
here is the javascript part
path=app.activeDocument.fullName.path
Thanks!
Hi there,
As suggested by Ged, when you save and open files across a network or from removable media, many variables affect application performance. Therefore, some problems occur more frequently when you work across a network or from removable media than from a local hard disk. (Network-related problems include damaged files, denied access, or slow performance.) In these situations, Photoshop can return one of the following error messages:
Note: Problems using Photoshop files across a network or from removable media can be intermittent or delayed

No, it needs to be what you call panoramic, not a 3D object. That is something different.
Hey guys, I wanted to report to Adobe about a serious problem with linking videos in PP. I have had this issue the last 3 months just progressively get worse. I understand that the best option when working on a large project is to have media and file banks local, but this isn't an option for us when we have a large extensive bank of media.
This is the problem, and from my research, it has been going on for the last 4 years and ADOBE STILL hasn't come up with a solution.
PP shuts down network drives that have links to those drives. When you open up a file that isn't local, it shuts them down. You then have to REOPEN those drives and RELINK everything or shut down PP and reopen to relink everything. The bigger problem lies in that now even if you do that it doesn't work. You can re-establish those drives once PP shuts them down, only for PP to shut them down AGAIN. I don't understand why or what the issue is, but this just started getting progressively worse over the last 3 months more than likely over the last update. Can ADOBE PLEASE do something about this? I am tired of the downtime in our productivity here in the office because of this issue and we are literally on the verge of going back to FCP which I've almost convinced myself that we should've done this a long time ago.
Here is a video link to show you EXACTLY what is going on and if I am missing some simple thing, then let me know that I'm an idiot and I will address that issue, but everything we have tried short of making everything local, which we can't do, doesn't fix the problem.
Now I'm coming here because the other situation that has developed is that NOW when you try to re-establish the drive, PP not only SHUTS down the drive, IT CRASHES THE ENTIRE COMPUTER INTO A FORCED REBOOT.
Try resetting the preferences.
To restore default preference settings and plug-in cache at the same time, hold down Shift-Alt (Windows) or Shift-Option (Mac OS) while the application is starting. Release the Shift-Alt keys or Shift-Option key when the splash screen appears.
from here:
If that doesn’t work ,try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.
I am gonna cry. I have lost ALL my brushes. Brushes that i have made for myself. All GONE. wtf Adobe?? no one asked for your basic *** brushes. how does it magically and automatically DELETE brushes from my computer WITHOUT my permission!??
When is Premiere being updated so I can color grade and adjust HDR clips directly on an HDR screen?
It seems like DeVinci and Vegas got it last year.
Hello,
I want to cancel my Acrobat Pro DC plan. I followed the instructions from the "Cancel your membership or subscription | Acrobat, Document Cloud PDF services" Adobe Support page, but there is no "Cancel plan" button. I have contacted Adobe Customer Care, as advised, but there I was informed, that "it is on trial mode and will be unsubscribed automatically". This is impossible, because I was informed in the welcome e-mail from Adobe, that with this subsription, after the trial mode I will be charged monthly unless I unsubscribe. It looks like I'm forced to pay, because there is no other possibility to contact Adobe. Please help.
The files are fact sheets that need to have specified file names. Will it still work?
Hi Alfonsn,
That shouldn't be happening, could you please try using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to uninstall Photoshop then reinstall it again from the Creative Cloud desktop app and let us know if it helps?
Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

When setup properly within an IDE, it is so easy to maintain a backup/version control. Have a look at the following where 'A' = added and 'M' = modified. Depending on how often you want a backup or create a version, you could leave the commit go for a week or a month. Committing the files shown below is very fast and it only requires the push of a button.
We know that, every editor under the sun, well as far back as a few years has a Git implementation. I know you're excited because Wappler has just got one, last week. We are discusing the relevance of who would benefit from using Git not how GIt works or what a git panel looks like.
Please tell me the Wappler implementation is a bit better than what you show, it must document the time/day the commit was made and to what file the comment refers, rather than just the commit message?
You create the first two groups of fields (with the correct field names and export values) and then it uses the vertical and horizontal distances between them to generate the rest, so the column structure is maintained automatically..
